Meet Dr. Allyson Orwig, DDS

Dr. Allyson Orwig, DDS, is a general dentist at Dentistry 801 Grand and a proud native of the Greater Des Moines Area. She grew up on a farm outside of Indianola and after graduating from Indianola High School, she attended the University of Iowa where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology. She continued her education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society for the top graduates displaying high grades of scholarship and character.

In her free time, Dr. Orwig enjoys playing slow pitch softball, getting outside for a round of golf, spending time on the farm with her family, and is an avid Hawkeye fan! She enjoys giving back to the community through volunteering, and has gone on multiple dental service trips to donate dental care to the underserved communities of Central America.

Dr. Orwig is passionate about providing high quality comprehensive care to all of her patients. Her favorite part of dentistry is developing lasting relationships with her patients and working together with them to create a smile that they are proud of.
