If you’re experiencing severe tooth pain, sensitivity, or swelling, you may need a root canal. At Dentistry 801 Grand, our expert root canal specialists use the latest techniques to make the root canal procedure as quick, painless, and effective as possible.
It is a dental treatment used to save a tooth that’s badly decayed or infected. During the procedure, the damaged pulp is removed, the area is cleaned, and the tooth is sealed to prevent further issues.
Consultation & X-ray
Our team assesses the damage and plans the treatment.
Numbing & Cleaning
The tooth is numbed, cleaned, and the infected pulp is removed.
Filling & Sealing
The canal is filled and sealed to prevent reinfection.
Restoration
A crown may be placed to strengthen and restore the tooth.
We aim to make treatment affordable. The cost of a root canal depends on the location of the tooth and the complexity of the procedure.
Most root canals range between $700–$1,500 per tooth. We accept most insurance plans and offer flexible payment options.
We’ll provide a full breakdown of costs before treatment.

We came here for a second opinion after being told that my wife and I needed $9-10k of dental work done. Every bit of the experience was better from check in through estimated total amount for treatment and how quickly we would be able to get in to have treatment started. Highly recommend!

I had an appointment this morning and this was the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. I haven’t been to a dentist in multiple years and I was very nervous and embarrassed.. Alexandria was SO nice and comforting. She is amazing at what she does and was very good at explaining what she was doing.

I broke a tooth on a Tuesday night and I called the next morning on Wednesday around 9:00 to see if I could be seen sometime soon to have it looked at. I had never been seen there before. They had an 11:00 open and I took it. Parking was easy to find in their private parking garage. The office was very clean and everyone was very friendly, warm and inviting.

I have a really tough time at dentists and the staff really made me feel at home! Everyone was super nice and explained everything they were going to do before they did it. The office is beautiful and the parking directions are very clear. Everything about this experience was amazing and I will continue to see the dentists that work here!! Thank you!

Don’t wait for the pain to get worse. With modern root canal treatment, you can avoid extractions and preserve your natural tooth for years to come.
A root canal is a procedure that removes infected or damaged tissue from inside a tooth, cleans the inner canals, and seals the tooth to help preserve your natural tooth.
Root canal treatment may be recommended if the pulp inside your tooth becomes infected or inflamed because of deep decay, a crack, repeated dental procedures, or dental trauma.
Common signs include severe tooth pain, prolonged sensitivity to hot or cold, swelling around the gums, tenderness when chewing, or discoloration of a tooth. A dental exam is needed to determine the cause of your symptoms.
We’ll numb the area to help keep you comfortable, remove the infected tissue, clean and disinfect the inside of the tooth, seal it, and recommend a permanent restoration if needed.
Modern root canal treatment is performed using local anesthesia to help keep you comfortable. Most patients say the procedure feels similar to receiving a dental filling.
Treatment time depends on which tooth is being treated and the complexity of your case. Some procedures can be completed in one visit, while others may require more than one appointment.
Mild tenderness for a few days is common after treatment. Most patients return to their normal activities shortly after the procedure while following their aftercare instructions.
Many back teeth benefit from a dental crown after treatment to restore strength and help protect the affected tooth from future damage. We’ll recommend the most appropriate restoration based on your individual needs.
With proper restoration, good oral hygiene, and regular dental visits, a tooth that has received root canal treatment can often remain healthy and functional for many years.
